   Well from what i heard from people who read the novel right now these scene will be F*cked up but i heard is gonna get good when he regrets how he treated her …im waiting for that part

   @pizzaparty you said it all, the man is sick his vision of human relationships is totally twisted let alone love, plus he had to protect his first wife’s dignity thus making the new wife the villain even if she didn’t do anything wrong, ok he can’t love her or shower her with tender words, but can’t he at least teach her how to protect herself in this harsh environment he was so eager to put her in? If only he let her escape with he other friend in the first place! He doesn’t deserve her at all, and his sorry excuse of an apology in the last chapter didn’t weight to anything after all he made her go through, he went as far as to compare her the his ex, saying she’s a princess a should be treated accordingly when she’s basically nothing -even if he did that so that she can’t leave him- it was disgusting, and that’s one of the many things he did

   I really like this one, despite a few reviews to the contrary.

   The only problem I have with this is how realistic this one is. I’m reading this through a lens of what happened to my dad whose fiancee legit tried to murder him by serving him tomato leaf salad, which was the least harmless thing she did; she was a total bleep that ruined his perception of love for a good couple of years, and yeah, I can see why Bjorn would feel like that over someone who betrayed him and had a child with another guy.

   So yes, Bjorn has some problems with the idea of love, and yes, he doesn’t always think things through and care for his wife the way he should, but he is redeemable.

   You could really say that he is a contradiction, or rather paradox, something that looks like a contradiction but isn’t. he’s nice, but ruthless, kind but cold, and a gentleman and a brute all in one, he is really confusing to the female lead and me.

   I am honestly just waiting at this point for the tree to realize he has fallen.

   Erna has admitted it to herself, poor girl had a really rough time before marrying him, partly because of him, but at least he had enough sense to repay her in some way. Be it money or marrying her, he flipped a coin and a certain kpop song flooded my senses lol.

   ANYWAY I like this, you can’t convince me otherwise, I love the story, I love the art, yes it is a little sad, but I have hope that it will have a good ending.

   Ok so if you like tragedies this story is for you, I can’t bring myself to like it tho’
   The Fl Erna is a victim in any way possible, she’s a victim of her shitty father, a victim of her shitty husband and a victim of that shitty society
   In the first place if Bjorn wanted to hide the fact that his first wife had an affair because of their countries , He shouldn’t have taken a second wife, because no matter who she is, the first will always be seen as an angel and a victim and the second as a witch who separated them, (he even knew that her painter friend was going to help her but decided to take her anyway because of his greed to make her his) and that made Erna sink in a pitch dark hole of loneliness, her husband didn’t seem to care , worse he didn’t even PRETEND to care before of the others to make them shut the f up! So yeah she was basically thrown in that shitty position of a snake, a witch and a country girl who didn’t even get her husband’s love for months, that resulted in her miscarriage
   So even if apologized toward the end of the novel, he didn’t deserve to get back with her, for all what she suffered he deserved to live the rest of his live dreaming of her but never reaching her, like she dreamed of him and waited for him all this time

    I’m liking this so far. The art is beautiful, and it seems like an actual love story set in the victorian era, what I mean by that is that it doesn’t feel extremely modern. If that makes sense lol
    The ML is cool, he doesn’t seem like an asshole but there is room for character development. The FL too. The FL was sheltered, therefore she’s very naïve and innocent, and some readers may not like that. I am somewhat one of those people. Nonetheless, she’s still smart and I’m interested to see more of her. As long as the story is still enjoyable after 20 chapters or so, I guess I’ll be here for the updates 🙂

    Seems interesting. FL is a shy cinnamon roll from the countryside and ML is a kind of problematic prince. There are not many interactions between them so far (5 chapters) so I am exited for more!
