I had a feeling that this is an inside job, I know it sounds a bit too obvious that the butler reveal himself as an assassin, but I feel that the author is purposely revealing that as a cover for the reader to suspect him and give us clues, so I’m gonna overthink this and choose a candidate from characters that’s already introduced in the story, Marco the chef, Masha’s son as the killer.

In this chapter FL ask for height and weight, I can speculate that she tries to find the culprit body profile, muscle strength/mass to be able a cut the neck deep enough and height that’s tall enough to be able to do slash on the neck height. For the height problem, I think it’s for when you kill the target while he’s sitting on a chair, eating, the chef works have worked in the palace before, the 3-year job quit can be solved too if the crown prince knows that he’s being aimed by assassin so he ordered a chef that he knows to assure his meal.

Oh my gosh. There’s 3 possible reasons: he committed su*cide, he already knows he’s going to be killed so he wrote a letter for Lex in advance, ooooorrrr he was killed and someone copied he’s handwriting. But I think, it’s either the 1st or the 2nd reason
