why are we hating the priest? Priest works for god right and god basically said “tell them I said use my blessing to save the empire”
His paternal feelings are getting in the way for her but also just gonna ignore the oracle of BOTH sons dying? He’s going to have to chose between her happiness and the kingdom but he could also just idk ask her to help and see what her answer would be even though he wants to protect her after the last excursion they had should prove she’s needed to save everyone
