Ugh, why do I get the feeling that this redbrown-haired “rival” Elijah Hallstein is just another one of the author’s tricks to create some se*ual tension between the main couple?
Elijah hints at wanting to serve the female lead intimately, which is supposed to make the male lead even more aware of how much he actually wants to do this himself…
The female lead on the other side blushes and sometimes thinks of their weird CPR-(actually artificial respiration)-“kiss” in chapter 75-76 aaages ago, but she is obviously still totally not ready to get intimate with Michael/Mikaelis, right? She’s the princess and “master” of her knight, so if she really wanted it, she could simply initiate it – but she has never decided to do this yet.
So why should we readers appreciate all the surrounding’s pressure that is put on the girl to “hurry up and do it”? It gives me the irk.
