Confusing, so 300 yrs ago there was a monster attack and the current kingdom felt entiteled to let 24 sorcerer dudes from another country deal with it. They did, whyever not, not. Soooo, they went to war against these 24. 12 perished, yet, they finally did fight those monsters, peace and quiet again.
How old is the ML – sounds as if he participated in said war. And how is this 300 yr old minor war still a thing – sounds as if those 12 wizard pals have more reason to complain.
