To answer kitty’s question, Dietrich’s contract is eating up his soul. Remember when Baal said that demons fed on their contractor’s soul? The greater the demon you’re contracted with, the faster you will lose your sanity (at Dietrich’s case, this will only result on a death flag since he will be the villainous duke of the north). That’s why Lagrange are evil in ‘nature’. Their contract with demons consume their soul and later cause them to go berserk. Anissa saw the ‘symptoms’ where Dietrich is being consumed by the demons he was contracted with (the black patch on his neck) and heard from Baal itself that Dietrichdoesnt have much time to live. That’s why she opted to forcefully end Dietrich’s existing contracts. To save him from being consumed by it. Even Baal asked Dietrich to stop using the demon’s power to save Dietrich’sremaining time.
If I remember it correctly, during the earlier chapters— it was also mentioned that Lagrange children die early either because of the power struggle between siblings or their incompatibility with their contracted demon. Those who have stronger demon die earlier. Dietrich is a special case. Not only he has strong demon variants under his wing but also have multiple.

I mean it wasnt like he was abusing his powers infact he was victim to certain plots..but just to appear as good person the fl decides to remove the demons by herself without asking for the ml’s consent..I mean the ml’s demon was pretty good..Now the fl is getting on my nerves. 🙂
