Honestly, I think this is one of the most competent stories I’ve ever seen in showing the consequences of using a power. Most of the main characters have occasional episodes of fainting or vomiting blood that are clearly just to move the readers. But seeing Luna gradually lose her five senses is genuinely sad and, for me at least, makes her very sympathetic. Poor girl, she pays a heavy price for helping people and her stupid family wasn’t even able to recognize that when they all lived together 😡
