I would love one of these stories to acknowledge the fact that the girl doesn’t have to forgive the guy after he treats her like garbage regardless of his reasons and regardless of if he repents and changes. And even if she does choose to forgive him that doesn’t mean she has to be with him. Even for the sake of her child.
His remorse would only be acceptable if he genuinely let’s her make her own decisions without controlling, manipulating or pressuring her. And even then she doesn’t need to forgive him or be with him.
But that’s unlikely to happen. I’ve only read one story where the girl doesn’t end up with the ex who treats her like garbage in the end

Is not an apology he needs to apologize in detail about the abuse she suffered from him weather it was directly or indirect he still cause harm to her and their son he wants forgiveness he needs to stop threatening her with I’ll take my son he’s an heir. He needs to give her space to make her own choices and I hope it’s 2ml but we all know who’s on the cover so she will go back in the next few chapters
