my 4yr old cousin asked me, “Where’s my dad?”
Then I said, “He left to go get milk like my dad.”
And she replied, “He’s at the store?” i didn’t know how to reply so i said yes.
It was so sad but it cracked me up 😭
i just had to post this bc this chapter reminded me of it
