Are we supposed to just accept this?? Why should I like this guy, author is acting like he is fine for acting the way he is. There is no redemption and no development of any kind whatsoever. How are we supposed to toot for him. Acting like mc is the one who should change smh
Both of these characters have literally zero character development. Shitllian acts like he’s changed, but out of the chapters they’ve been reunited, he has taken no action nor had an epiphany to come to that realization. It took him a single chapter to realize that his actions have consequences.
And the female lead is still as weak-minded and timid as she was before. Her inner monologues sound like she’s going to be confident, but what comes out of her mouth is completely contrary to what she had us believe.
But in this chapter, what truly pissed me off about Killian is that he’s treating Damian, his literal child, like a mere parasite in the way of his happiness with Rowena….he hasn’t even seen the boy’s face but already hates him. I rarely say this stuff about authors but….the author of this has to be delusional to think that this man is somewhat redeemable.
OKay mabye if the story was different and he didn’t believe the affair thing but he was forced to marry someone else it was alright but he is just so disgusting he can’t redeem himself
This is just getting gross. Stop pushing this bastard on us and that poor woman. He is trash and no amount of kindness or backstory will change that. He does not deserve her and she deserves better. How fucking stupid was the writer when they wrote this trash
