He’s literally kidnapping her because ” I kinda miss her “, by keeping her kid hostage, he has continuously shown no sign of RESPECTING BOUNDARIES by not only KISSING HER when she CLEARLY DIDN’T WANT TO but also SLEEPS WITH HER where she clearly placed her boundary, told her not to react to him being absolutely disgusting or else he’ll be horny, and the author is 100% leaning towards HIM into being the ML. That’s not even the whole of it, it’s that she doesn’t STAND HER GROUND AT ALLLLLLL, she’d tell him to get out OF HER OWN HOME and when he doesn’t and sexually assaults her there is no issue at all to her. I’m not asking her to be as bold as say Rosanna, but where is HER SELF WORTH?? HER DIGNITY?? This is not a romantic scene at all so how dare the author try to romanticize this? Consent is soooooo hot man, why remove it entirely >:((. Just this is the last FEW CHAPTERS TOO. The only reason I’m still here is because I want to complain but other than that, this story should have been about mc living with her kid as a slice of life, not this. Bad, not good story, story succs.
these characters are so annoying. FL is desperately trying to have some semblance of authority, yet she doesn’t know how to be persistent with it and it makes her look submissive. And the ML is such a pushy pissbaby, he clearly doesn’t know boundaries or consent since he not only forced two kisses upon her, but slept next to her without her permission.
Situations like these make me feel bad for the FL, but if she wants to protect her son and get what she wants, she needs to be more assertive…though I guess that’s hard when the duke doesn’t listen to anything but his own voice.
I agree with @Allie Sis. The fact that ML blindly believes the Queen’s people and FL doesn’t suspect her maid even a teensy bit is really funny coz they’re both naive in a similar way.
I understand her a little when you don’t listen to your parents and make a mistake then try to fix it but making bigger mistakes at last get pregnant with an illegitimate child that is very shameful so she couldn’t tell to her father ” uncle ” till the end.
What amuse me in this story is dumbness of ML for believing queen’s people and FL for not suspecting her maid.
