So why is it that Helene acting all baddy in the name of due to past trauma and getting away with it…and at the same time trying to paint Helene as though she’s the only victim there???!!

Sorry, I must vent it out!! Maybe I don’t quite get it as this manhwa is updating ever so slow. Just didn’t like it how that Lyla is always in the dark and getting the beating every single time. I’m glad Fian is there for her.
I get that Helene has some trauma and trust issues, but Lyla is literally still a child, look at how tiny she is, even without the soul death knowledge. She was a tiny toddler when her mother died and has no memory of being loved by her, it doesn’t seem like even original Lyla had any memories of that, and every day after her death, she only suffered amongst the imperial family, all of which Helene knows, so her reacting like this is ridiculous and unfair. Lyla has made her disinterest in the throne clear, and even if Helene’s wrong theory that Lyla is here for their father’s love or even the throne were right, to react to her younger sister confiding that she’s actually just here for help with her health is to tell her to die, puts in the same camp as the siblings who more actively contribute to Lyla’s suffering.
I still have no clue as to why she hates her. They seem nice together like this then her sister explodes in anger for no reason. So many conflicting emotions. I wonder if her father is the evil using her since she does not have the same soul? or Her sister helped her to leave because what her father has planned for her. In this book her sister was the OG FL and wanted to destroy the empire. Still not enough solid information to come to a conclusion.
