@sir-cat you should write crime fiction novels. You might have a knack for it 🤔

Yeah, story is cool and all. But imagine being the one responsible for her takimg the juice amd drugs, and a fricking grapefruit juice? It’s one of the most notorious for needing to check its interactions with drugs and whatever.
Now you return home and notice that MC’s still in her room, you go to wake her up, you try calling for her, nothing, you move closer and yell again, still nothing, that’s it, you violently shake her, still… nothing? “What’s going on? ” you ask. A sudden chill rums down your spine, as you reach out to her nick to check for pulse, noyhing, not a single beat. You’re choking as you hurriedly pick out your phone to call an ambulance. The paramedics comes fast in 5 minutes, but you felt it as an hour, they try their best to resuscitate MC, but no response. Now at the hospital, the doctor relays their condolences to you, as it was too late.
But what happened? She was completely fine the last time you’ve seen her, how could she just doe overnight? An autopsy was ordered, and the results comes out. MC has died due to drug poisoning. “What?!” You shout, “There’s no way!” “the only drugs she’s on is her…” you stopped midway through your speech, tears flowing through your eyes. You show the specialist the tablets you brought for her, and they confirm it’s the culprit, but “she ~ takes them~ in the prescribed doses~” you say as a last ditch effort to prove to yourself that it’s not it, it’s not what you think it is. They ask if she took anything with the medication, you answer “grape…fruit… juice” they tell about the interactions grapefruit has with medications. And at that point, you stop feeling your legs as they give away, and you fall on the ground sobbing. You’re not the one responsible for her death, but you can’t shake the sour feeling of guilt and regret. “Why did I give it to her?” “I killed her”, you didn’t, she’s old enough to pay attention to the doctor warning her about things she shouldn’t take with that medication. Days… months… years have passed and you still can’t forget it that incident, you went back to your normal life, but you always come back to her grave to cry. It’s all that bloody grapefruit juice’s fault.
