Also one more thing… the signatures that are being used as evidence are exactly the same except for the starting “R” having a stylized Paraph! (look it up)
The “o” is connected at the same point to the exaggerated “s” to an “e” connected to the first “t” Which both “t’s” seem to be sharing the same tittle (look it up) but you can just barely see the bottom of the second “t’s” tittle under the left side of the first “t”

So… I would just like to say that the R-word is pretty much a slur in the States…(I cannot speak of Weather it is a dated term in other places)
However, it Used to be a medical terminology.
It is completely dated and antiquated and considered highly offensive nowadays…
But as someone who is a nerd for etymology allow me to break down this word into its Latin Origin.
Re – Back (Latin sub-word)
Tardus – Slow (Latin sub-word)
Retardare – Latin word
Retarder – French word
Retard – 15th century English
Anyway, My point Is that the base word is rooted in “Slow” (And in some cases can be used as a verb to describe slowness) which is exactly how they described the speech impediment of this disabled child.
Also English is super hard anyway and translators might not know which words are antiquated. Especially if they can’t even wrap their mind around pronouns most of the time.

Yeah ideally its much appreciated if it is done in a more appealing manner. However, you have to try to understand their frustration as well.
You cannot expect a person to act nicely and ‘mind their manners’ when they are feeling this much frustrated. Its just human nature.

I am well aware of the effort these guys put in, specially the cleaners and re-drawers. And I for one feel so bad for them when a TL is this much neglected. It feels like their efforts are disregarded when those who are in charge of the TL do such a lousy job.
I appreciate their enthusiasm, yet as some philosophers saying, ‘a work done with neglect is better not done at all’.
If you are one of the team-members of the scanlation group, then you should say so, and try to convince the other party by explaining how much effort you guys have put into this work despite the TL being so bad. And if you aren’t, just try to understand someone else’s frustration by putting yourself in their shoes. That would be ‘good manners’ as well right?!

Then maybe, people who have felt frustrated and even tortured due to the mental riddles they had to constantly solve just to figure out what the text is implying, would feel less wronged.
Even then a display of good mannerism is too much of an expectation due to their mental fatigue.
