That maid was very naive and gullible… I feel like it was very obvious that it was her brother who was tormenting her (it became even more obvious after her brother had her dragged back into the mansion and treated like an animal), and she made it very obvious too with the hints she gave her maid. All the maid had to do was piece it together… if only she had helped her escape, rather than falling for that bastard’s lies.
