   it was a ‘decent’ story, nothing that will blow your mind though, until they introduced mecha body suits and the mc driving around in basically a ferrari. once they introduced those technologies it just ruined it for me.

   I disagree with @error_: the ML is your average god-Gary-Stu who knows everything, makes no mistakes and is indestructible.
   It’s the usual “back in time” and ” how i, a good-for-nothing, become a god in a few years”…
   Of course, there’s that pesky screen-system and a ton of cheats for the hero: the hero is so pathetic that he’s unable to advance without cheating.
   It’s a shame, because this manwah is quite enjoyable to read and has a good pace, but it gets more and more boring as the chapters go by and god-ML aka Gary-Stu crushes everything without breaking a sweat.
   Forgettable.

   Finally, caught up! MC is no doubt incompetent compared to other MCs but relatable. He can be selfish, hypocritical, arrogant, etc. but that’s what makes him feel like a real person. He also set his priorities right, unlike other MCs that always get sidetracked. For example, he knew that the person he’s been trading with was using slaves as miners or the other person is plagiarizing skill books from a library and selling them. Why is he still doing business with them even after his revenge? Well they are easier to take advantage of (bec he got dirt on them) and it’s for his next revenge and to ensure the safety of his household (more coins = more contingency plans to prevent ruin). If this is other manhwa, MC would think ways to release those slaves or help the library avoid getting plagiarized. But our boy only thinks about raking coins. And if he did help, it would just hinder his progress toward his goals– we’re racing against time here, he needs to get stronger (both in 💪🏻 and 💰) as soon as possible. I still wouldn’t say it’s the best decision but it’s a realistic one. And although everything is served on a silver platter, he works hard to get the best out of it– please keep in mind that MC, both in past and present timeline, is just your average Joe. He’s far from genius both in talent and mind. Yes it’s annoying that everything seems to be too convenient for MC so keep that in mind should you decide to read this. Also, art went from average to below average (it’s still bearable, at least for me).
