I wanted to see the actual plot, but instead this entire chapter was only exposition that we were already told by chapter 0 😕 like I thought, this is cliché and cringey. Still, I’ll try it out.
@Quokka that has literally been on my mind every time I read a manhua. Like I’m sure chinese authors are capable of making something good and comprehensible, so why are all of these manhuas the same? Like you said, it has the same cringey dialogues, boring plot, basic characters, weak character development, nonsensical conflicts, and etc.
I don’t want to hate or generalize manhuas, mostly because it feels a little bit racist sometimes, but if all manhuas are like this….I can’t take manhua authors seriously.
I’m sure most of y’all know how to distinguish Chinese webtoon from Korean or Japanese, it’s pretty easy fr.. That’s why I’m curious about this for while now.. why do they draw everything almost the same way? Action, scenery, characters even dialogues and cringe ah faces
They are good with novels but when it comes to webtoon/manhua it’s like the same person’s drawing, one dude that is drawing every single manhua out there, it’s the same art every time
Is it cuz of censorship in China or its just “manhua signature” type of shi?
To be honest there are many manhuas which I like but the more I progress the more the plots seems similar to me but Chinese Animes(Donghua) are so good and each story seems unique! So I have started to prefer Chinese Animes(Donghua) more than manhua…🥲
