Yeah but it’s clear that silently sacrificing yourself is not the good option either here. There’s literally no reason to not be allowed to regularly see your Mom – or even have your Mom come live with you so that there’s at least ONE adult hopefully trying to prioritize Savina’s feelings
I really love the prince’s interactions with her mom, he’s obviously not a true psychopath since he is capable of some remorse, most of that is tied to how Sabina reacts to him though, however, where ever he falls on the aspd spectrum, Sabina’s mom was important in showing him a relatively healthy and loving family dynamic, and that it doesn’t have to be faked or be rooted in something transactional, nor is such a relationship a fairytale fantasy.
