Now kids, this is where we can learn from her mistakes ^_^.
First, don’t ever completely trust someone that you know, for a fact, doesn’t have both oars in the water.
Second, always have an alternate escape. A rational adult, should ideally go forward with the plan they told the crazy child prince, but deviate at a random point to said backup escape plan going a completely different direction, because trust is earned and he has done nothing at this point to earn trust, regardless of if we’re trying to be friendly so he doesn’t kill us.
Now given our FL’s situation, people she can truly trust are far and few between, and her necessarily trusting them doesn’t mean they’d they’d necessarily be capable of keeping her escape secret for long, as seen in previous chapters.
All in all, her betrayal by the demon child prince was inevitable, but a good attempt on her part, given her level of planning.
