There were indeed too many plot holes. Actually they are more than capable to kill Alphonse in Omnis to avoid suspicion. But they still invited him to fl’s kingdom just to kill him. So ofc they’ll be the first to be suspected. Plus that Wolf guy is always close to Alphonse and the King of Omnis, so he can easily assassinate them. Although Wolf is still pretty sus for me.
See, I wanna ask again – considering she was able to slaughter her way through the knights, why didn’t she take out the hostile emperor and install his son?
Disinheritance only counts if people acknowledge it, and a power struggle would weaken the empire enough that the kingdom would be safe.
