It’s cute, but it’s also immensely frustrating. Like one sentence can resolve the entire problem. But the author wants the drama, so simple sentences that would be natural, or expected, didn’t come out. Instead they force a dialogue so vague on the characters, who have clearly demonstrated a mastery of language, that it makes no sense. It’s like an author trying to force I’ve to not melt because “PLOT” and it kicks the reader off of the story. God writing means letting the ice melt and using it to enhance the story telling, rather than prevent it by all unnatural and illogical means simply because the author thinks it will sell.
Seriously women why do this, it’s okay to be with him just accept him don’t worry about your brother he needs to learn to accept the situation about you two besides he’s doing the exact same thing, don’t worry about little snoopy pants and get together with Alexander
