It’s really frustrating that people can’t understand Terriods pov. He’s not Theo, does not have his memories. He is someone who just have the face of the former king. And no matter what anyone says he is completely justified in being upset with Tina. All her previous actions indicated she was going to love him and she was asking him to wait for her. Theo lived 100 years ago. It’s just foolish to look at someone and think of your previous lover. She was not just remembering him, she was finding similarities between the two and comparing. Anyone who thinks this is normal is not sane.
She was leading him on. She was given a new life to live with new choices. Not to dwell in the past. I do feel sorry for Theo and Martina but it’s past. You can’t do anything other than to grieve.
I really don’t understand people bashing Terriod, he is doing what any person would do if they were in his situation.
Terriod has every right to be upset with Astina. Obviously overtime he was going to fall in love with her and Astina has indicated that she feels something for him as well, she’s just not letting herself move on completely. He is right to be upset that she lead him to believe that he mattered to her and to assume she only stayed with him because she saw Theodore in him.
And that’s another thing that’s frustrating with Astina. She needs to realize that she is NOT Martina. Martina is dead. Theodore is dead. She cant conti ue to love someone who is dead. She’s been given a new life and a new chance to live it better and she can definitely be happy if she lets go of the past and opens herself up to Terriod.
I thought it was just Astina being terrible with communication but it’s even more so frustrating that she just refuses to move on and continues to hurt Terriod by not clearing it all up with him and just keeping her silence and firm on her feelings. Not even willing to reassure him. I hope we see more chapters of them talking personally and working it out instead of all the politics.

My heart doesn’t ache for him, I’m disgusted by his immaturity and his views on what love is. I really hope we can freaking finish this kind of arc up already, I’m just tired of it.
