You know, the hunter’s association and the korean government In this story really annoy me. The MC is a not only a foreign dignitary, he is an incredibly powerful individual with access to divine power and gods, yet not once have they afforded him the respect someone of his stature deserves. Like, sure they treat him somewhat better than common rabble, but not anywhere near the level they should, especial given how they have emphasized his importance to Korea and how they want him to stay. It seems to me that they pretty much just view him as an eccentric nut job that they tolerate because of how powerful he is and not as the divine warrior king he is.
Like if he is so important, why is the hunter’s association the one handling him and not the korean version of the state department? Or take this incident for instance, he wanted to evaluate some potential candidates for his order, yet instead of making arrangements for him to do that, they just tried to push him through the normal hunter examine as a candidate and not a spectator or proctor.

i think it has to do a lot with politics. I’m not korean at all, but from what I’ve seen through korean crime articles and general culture through korean pop culture, korea places a lot of emphasis on evidence. Not just a preponderous of evidence either, they need a ton of evidence to get anything done. From their reactions, survivors tend to be strong, but not even close to as strong as the MC. Not to mention, only a handful of people have seen the MC’s strength and power in person. That might be the reason he isn’t exactly held that high in regard. Also im pretty sure the hunter association is affiliated with the government since they were able to get the president on the phone during one of the early chapters to show that the “king” gave permission for the MC to take action. Just like with the MC, there seems to be a culture gap between you mr/mrs commenter and the manhwa.
