I know it’s obvious to the reader that the doppelgänger neighbor is actually her ‘dead’ brother. It’s the same trope of ‘he’s not dead, he lost his memory’ BUT I hope there’s a huge twist and the guy is NOT actually her brother and is truly just a doppelgänger. That would be surprising.
