I will say, the fact that they still treated her well overall compared to other Mangas I can’t hate too much on the parents. Still shitty parents but they at least didn’t show her pure hatred. They suck though I know
My son had to have one of his eyes patched when he was little because one of his eyes had much better sight than the other. This was to force the eye with worse eye sight to improve because the the eye with better sight would hinder the other eye from improving. Eyes required to be used to improve eyesight. Children naturally have developing eye sight that improves since birth because it isn’t instant being able to see properly it is a process. If the FL eyes had been covered since birth they would not be able to work since they have never had the development of improving by being used. It is like the same concept of a muscle.

Plus yeah she’s definitely blind or severely sight impaired and would take her ages to adapt and would probably have to continue wearing a blindfold as she wouldn’t be able to adapt to the light

And her “father” has brown eyes while the “mother” has green ones, but they gave her blue eyes in the portraits?? At least make it seem real huh..
