Now I also don’t like the crown prince anymore – why did he criticize the original female lead Adriana for “ruining” the life of an innocent person (obviously meaning our current female lead Margaret)?
You can’t tell me that he’s supposed to “see through” Adriana’s “strategy” of pinching herself? People also grab their dresses or clamp their hands when under stress. It’s basically impossible to tell what’s what. And Adriana was probably even ordered by Diego to appear pitiful as a payment for his help…
No, Diego is not a “good man”, and a contract-marriage for a while with the clever and beautiful Adriana would not be a “burden” like he complains. But I guess this manhwa will just show us how well he treats the current FL before and right after their marriage like this was proof of a happy ending – including playing in the sun with the kids as a merry family….
I mean, he isnt lying, that’s true when I see a whole bunch of female leads push what’s supposed to be, or who is supposed to be the main lead or story to the other partner it’s like what about what they want?
Yes, quite. This FL is ridiculously manipulative, but at least the ML can see it.
It’s quite bizarre that she’s convinced it’s a “good thing” to do, but all she does is try to control other character’s behaviour to suit her whims.
Does the author know this is a pretty typical villain trait?
Well, a male lead like Diego should not criticize anyone for being manipulative, since he is the exact same, but he does not even do this for helping others, but rather only himsself. The FL is acting like a typical matchmaker, not worse than that; she does not hurt anyone and she didn’t set Diego up in a compromising situation that would force him to “take responsibility” or whatever typical villainesses do.
