He might be the ‘hunter’ they are looking for! He either has travelled back in time like her and is a ‘player’ or he is a native of this world who has somehow came into contact with the related information. He could even be a GM trapped inside an NPC due to an error!!

As i thought…this ‘Heavenly’ the informant assassin claimed to have not found the ‘hunter’ behind the leather only ’cause he himself had a hand in it.
Meaning either he was the person in question himself or he was related to him, probably as a subordinate.
And it is revealed that he is working for this ‘royal highness’.
This turn of events here proved the suspicions right.
This ‘Royal Highness’ has to be the king, or the crown prince since he has the king chess-piece in hand all the while. He then threw it into the fish tank, which could be a metaphor!
Either it means he wants to usurp the throne or the throne means nothing to him since he is aware of the events which are about to occure. Or he is a player and so nothing matters to him much less the throne.
It also mean how the whole kingdom with be thrown into chaos in a year. The throne would mean nothing with a country on the brink of destruction.
