I really like how I can see where each of the were coming from (even with the OG MC due to how being excessively spoiled mixed with her traumatic past – which other nobles would likely scorn her for – led to her becoming a villainess) and how, without intervention, it would truly lead to a trainwreck despite all their original best intentions
Actually, I love it. I like how funnily over-emotional the father is, and that his haphazardly decision drives a first wedge between his “children” that the heroine will have to mend. And I love how our female lead starts to make plans in earnest 🙂 The only thing I hate is her overly dark past life…
What a doting father, well, I never thought the adopted son was aiming for title, but him getting angry, I can understand he has spent all his life performing his duties as a young heir…oh well who says a Greta can’t inherit the title after all it was meant to be hers if not of that scheming maid…the should be a Noble who was responsible for this act.
I think it was too early to name Greta heir, and the father should’ve considered the adopted child’s feelings, as he was trained to be heir, and now his hard work is being overlooked. However, the adopted one seems to be a little hostile towards Greta. Who even considers marriage when the kid is 12 and just got rescued out of slavery? She was deprived of her childhood, plus she has the added trauma of almost being sold as a sex slave and getting raped/killed. Her father is a hero, she probably doesn’t even need to marry. The fact that he brought up her status as the lady of the house probably means he expected her to marry into power, and didn’t even consider a love marriage.
