It’s always been stale with very little depth, her relationships with the characters don’t really give off the feeling that any of them have a deep connection and the villain is just an immature little girl. The main character is literally living in a friendship is magic world and I was hoping she’d develop her own sort of special ability or even worked on learning magic by now. Honestly her care for them feels shallow, she only interacts with ‘main side characters’ by resolving something that happened in the last timeline and then suddenly they act like they’ve been friends their entire lives. Like she had no interaction with katherine aside from asking of Della could sit with her but they’re oddly close by the next time she appears.. Its like all the world and relationship building was cut and we’re just left with main events. Remember when whatsherface went to attack death and Mia freaked saying nu I won’t lose anything again!!? It was just awkward and confusing, sure she came to terms with her death so she wasn’t afraid to make a contract with Providence but.. It was already established that Providence can’t be killed right? What was the point of that? Why was she so emotional when they had barely built a connection? And the villain collecting all those guys after being a two Faced bitch pretty openly just sounds ridiculous, she would have had to have hypnotized them for it to make any sense. Ain’t no way the red head woulda hopped into her fishbowl after hearing all those snarky remarks about him being a monster, and! he would and should of suspected her of murdering those kids! She can’t keep her cool after rejections after all.. Anyways it’s been a headache so I’m dropping
The conflict is getting kinda stale. The art is lovely as always, but it’s literally richb1ch plots something, the men find a solution, they tell Mia the solution, they go back to their unspecified school lives in, like, two chapters max. Nothing about the setting or the situation has really changed in 27 chapters. Even taming her “death” is largely irrelevant.
idk, might stop reading for a while and hope it cooks into something with more substance
