So I read the reviews, and like I usually do, decided to plow on forward regardless.
I kinda regret it.
The story had a lot of potential, it really did, its just that it has more holes in its plots than swiss in their cheese.
For the first thirty chapters, it is very confusing. I still have a very slight coherent idea of what went on, but the why seemed a bit childish? The first half is all about how mysterious and hot the ml is, and the fl barely has a personality. The second half gets a little better so far as charachter personality and even the plot, but it still is confusing at times.
Did you ever try to write a novel when you were fourteen? No offense to anyone, but the majority of the time it felt like a kid wrote it.
Don’t get me wrong, after I lasted through the first half, I actually started enjoying this. The art is pretty, the main themes of the plot are interesting, or would be if they were written better, but I have to say this one is average.
I’m ignoring the translation. Don’t remind me about the translation. It was decipherable at times, but I wonder if it was slightly better would more readers have enjoyed this.
