I thought I was the only one. I ditched this story ages ago. I don’t mind an airheaded FL as long as she has other redeeming qualities and isn’t a pushover. I read a short manga with a FL (villainess) who was said to be stupid and has a bit of an aggressive side to her. But she was heart felt and loyal. She even became friends with the girl who replaced her as the fiancé of her ex. That’s how you handle an airhead. But this FL is… sooooooooo boring. I did like the butler in the beginning but he quickly irritated me as well. The ML is a cut-out of other more better written MLs.

I just decided I’m dropping this… When I got to chapter 59, I said to myself “wait a minute, take a break and then start again, maybe it’s better this way” but I realized I no longer had any desire to read it. Chapter 68 is out now and I don’t have the strength to open the manhwa from where I left, it really bored me. I can’t

I get the feeling that the author is a middle schooler who have zero experience in romance but read too much smut. They draw really well.. but writing skills are just detrimental. Quite sure they don’t have editor.

As for the butler, everyone seems to like him.. but if I were the Mc, I would be mad at him for kissing me in the cheek. The kiss was even by force. He also do what he pleases in the manga/manhua. Isn’t he supposed to be a butler? He even said she raised her… then what’s with the kiss then, that’s straight up pedo

I just wished that the editor took time to analyze the writer’s plot and characters.. so that the story itself would’ve been saved and the characters wouldn’t have suffered. Tbh, this manga/manhua has a potential.. it just wasn’t executed well.. and so it didn’t give any genuine connection with the readers.
If most of the readers here are women, the things to be considered first is how the FL handled herself in every situation. In this generation, women are empowered. However, in this story–the FL is nothing but a pushover.. she is always displayed as a weak woman who are ALWAYS saved like a damsel in distress. Even her mental capacity are put into question–She was introduced as a woman of intelligence but her actions tell otherwise.
My only advice for the writer are:
1. Fix the flow of the plot. So that the panel of the story wouldn’t look forced and not bring any confusion to the readers. (Example: Provide more drawings of the place/background, give them names like “Eunesia Hallway”, “Hulfer Castle”—the architecture does not only points out the time period, but also in understanding of that era as well as its culture)
2. Know the characters by heart. Bring out their charms and their weaknesses, so that the readers can connect with them. They’ll know when the characters have changed because they’ve grown with them.
3. Don’t allow yourself to be swallowed by the negative comments. Think of it as a constructive criticism. Have a room for your own growth.

Yeah, I’m gonna drop it at ch23. It’s not that entertaining anymore. This story is kinda in the category “so bad it’s good”, but it becomes boring fast.

Art is good but plot is terribly run with convenient ply placed heat attacks (typical omegaverse trope). FL lacks common sense and the ML shouldn’t be entertaining her at all but he’s dumb and in love. Pretty generic manga imo.

Honestly, it’s kind of cringe. The Mc is a bit of an airhead, so she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. Though the art is great, I don’t think I’ll be reading too much of it going forward. The plot is just really generic and cliché, and the relationship between the MC and ML feel very unnatural and forced. I don’t even know why they like each other.
It’s just my personal preference, so have fun if you enjoy it.

sorry but why would she break off their engagement just cause she doesnt want to die and cause someone else should marry the prince. if she likes him she should go for it and pursue him instead of trying to hide your feelings and trying to be a matchmaker, also why is the prince getting jealous hes the one who suggested breaking off the marriage but i will continue reading to see how this go so far its been alright
