is this an attempt to make the mc look cool? after that BS if would have been better is he used his eyes to analyze the monster when the queen appeared when prepared this spell. but he panicked and started asking for how much they would take if he took it down first. you think he would take it down after that but instead performed bad and the archer had to distract the queen and calm up him.
