I mean, she’s not emotionally invested/involved since she just possessed that body and she’s not actually Eloise. She just wants to prevent being killed in the future. She doesn’t have any personal resentment that the crown prince killed the Eloise of the novel (who betrayed him in the first place).
But she has a point kicking the prince out means he will not succeed the throne and another ass h*le would occupy the seat and it would be more bothersome..
I just don’t like that the FL acts like THE PRINCE NEVER KILLED HER.. she shouldn’t be all too friendly with him cuz she did help him get the throne and he killed her anyway so why does she think being friends with him would solve things?
She just needs to set the lane with the prince correctly.. like when you become the king I would have nothing more to do with you kinda thing so even if the saintess dies she won’t be a suspect.

“Prince I want you to leave the North am done with you pretending to have an amnesia as if you think am stupid” if he asks what makes her sure she can say “leave, the north doesn’t have a business with politics we already have our hands full with demon beasts”.

I think you’re right he is faking his amnesia and not only that but his reaction to hearing that she plans on helping him take on the throne tells me he doesn’t actually want that at all. Something must have definitely happened after he executed her and became firmly established as the Emperor. Something tells me it has to do with what’s happening now with the demons in the North. IF her blood alone keeps up the barrier, killing her would most definitely allow them to destroy the Empire and maybe the power he has to destroy all the demons wasn’t what anyone thought it was. SHE was that very strength.
Basically, the worst thing he could have done was kill the very person who is capable of destroying the demons AND there has to be more with her plot to rebel against him and assassinate the Saintess.
