   Honestly for me the plotline and the design of the characters are just dull. I barely got to chapter 23 and i was so bored i thought i had already read 40 chapters and jumped to the 26 to see if it got better but it didn’t. For me this manga is incredible boring but if there is a silver lining, that would be the FL, she is a strong, intelligent FL but all the same, it’s just not my cup of tea 🤷🏻‍♀️

      You’re right, this story could really use some optimiziation.
      It’s not like nothing happens in this manhwa. On the contrary; there are actually a lot of challenges to overcome for the female lead. But the pacing is rather slow and the problems can conveniently be tackled one after another (like life was ever so considerate to let you solve your issues slowly one at a time…).
      The whole storyline around the scheming second prince (Fenris) and his attempts for rebellion could really be a little more troublesome and action-packed for example. He seems to fall for the female lead quickly, but despite his reputation of unruliness he’s super regardful and his flirting is hardly noticeable.
      Then there’s an evil stepmother who only springs into action rather late and doesn’t even visit in person in order to start her attacks against the unwanted marriage partner of her son Difrin/Diffrin (the husband of the female lead).
      Also that plague plays a weirdly small role? The female lead cures the grandmother of her husband’s personal assistant Rikal by using her knowledge as a transmigrator and such her husband (who’s the crown prince’s close aide) learns of the cure for the plague…
      But we always stay with the female lead in her own little world and so we never learn when or how the plague is fought for the rest of the population, and it seems she doesn’t even get official credits as the discoverer of the cure?
      The husband Diffrin/Difrin is a boringly flat character with no interesting personality traits, no interests or hobbies, plus he’s uncomfortably stiff, aloof and extremely uncommunicative. We never see what his work is about and how he’s assisting the crown prince exactly. Or why he even became such a taciturn robot who dislikes to be touched, in total contrast to his buoyant and chatty own father?
      But this bland hubby is still obviously the male lead, simply because there’s no other character who’s getting close enough to the female lead (the assistant Rikal somehow vanishes as soon as his grandma is healthy again too) except for the dangerous second prince who the female lead tries to keep at arm’s length.

   I love this female lead, because she’s competent and sees her plans through. She also doesn’t just fall for her husband quickly, but always keeps the future divorce in mind.

   And no, the fl definitely does not try to “please” the ml, but keeps him at a distance instead and mainly wants to get through the contract marriage period safely. Plus as an isekai’d person she tries to lead the “original story” to a better ending.

   Her husband is not treating the fl like trash, he’s neither misogyn nor overly critical or even insultingly rude. Just overly stiff and stern. Still he slowly starts to care for her and can’t help catching feelings. THAT I can understand, because I’d fall for her too 😀 It’s a bit sad that we all know they will end up together … these stories really need more side characters and actual alternative choices.

   The goal here is to treat your husband like gold and please him, even if he treats you like trash? This plan is incredibly stupid, pathetic, and shows a lack of self-respect. Where’s the divorce? The story says you need to wait two years for an uncertain divorce. The title is misleading..

   the ml is obviously the trash husband who will treat her as an outsider treating her like some kind of trash. while the fl treating him like a treasure that she needs to take care of even she was treated badly.
