Also, I think the “original story” is changing.
We now see that the original Evelyn (even though lately so many stories end with the “twist” that the current female lead has also been the original one) also had black stains on her hand, and even more than the current one has.
But our fl told us before this that she hasn’t read anything about Evelyn suffering from any disease (except for the plague that she was then cured of) like Kendallen in the “original”…
Is this a mistake of the storywriter or is the memory of the original story changing on purpose?
