And with a powerful family like the Duke’s on her side she will become a strong contender at that. And the ‘legitimate’ royal heirs/their families will do their best to eliminate her before she could grow up and become a threat to them. So the best and easiest method to ensure her survival is to separate from her and show that she’s got no support from the Duke. ((This is my theory. The only thing that’s making me doubt it is the lack of guards/protection around her. Even if they do believe that she’s not a threat now they can’t predict if the Duke will change his mind later. So they still might try to kill her(and that might be the reason why she died in the original.. somebody was trying to get rid of all the competition, including her) to root out the problem all together.))

Of course, the appearance of a prophecy should be a big deal, but immediately relocating a child without checking everything is somehow stupid. And yes, her mother never cheated on her father. I wrote a spoiler in the second chapter. The MC is really the daughter of her father and mother.
It’s awful If they are all going to leave her behind just because of the mistakes of her mother. She does not deserve that in any way and it’s so so stupid.
