The only reason I read this story is because of the novel’s author – reading other comments explaining how much they’ve changed from the OG story is kind of disappointing. But it explains why this story feels a bit boring compared to the author’s usual work.
I much prefer the novel. The manga is simply changing every villian like the nanny and the sword teacher into victims making the heroine seem impulsive and troublesome instead of clever and brave. It’s taking a nice read and making the story flat.

I really like the contrast to the novel! Eventough its a little accelerated. Its a lot less drastical than in the novel
