Love him fully and she’s not showing him what him the way he thinks is right so I think he’s pushing her away but i thinks it’s for her own good since she knows that he’s illegitimate and can lose everything maybe he’s protecting them by being the bad guy idk I’m trying to give him a chance since he loves her and terrible at explaining it lol

Chapters like this have me questioning why I’m still reading this ???
I feel like her time travel was done more for her sons sake than her husband. But here we have the husband separating them? His son that’s probably obeyed him all his life is on his knees asking practically begging to stay with his mother and he’s like
“ No I don’t like you two bonding and becoming closer” ok I exaggerated but still.
Divorce already, clearly something bad is about to happen between her two families and she chose to stay on her husbands side, which I think was a huge mistake. Even after finding out he’s illegitimate and could put her and her son at risk she still choose him. Don’t know if she’s blinded by love or dumb when it comes to harsen, but the treatment he let her go through in his own home should have been enough for her to leave him on her second try at life.

I understand that no one’s lives in this story are easily distinguishable as black and white, everyone is in the grey, but even after being given a second chance things improved, not entirely (especially with the dukedom staff treating the FL), but the change is present in a good way.
What’s scary is seeing how Harsen keeps getting worse and worse. Was his obsession this bad in the first timeline? Or did it get worse in this current timeline after both husband and wife finally conversed to clear things up with each other but that only had the opposite effect of healing. From the very beginning Harsen loved Ercella but she only saw him a means to an end, to save her from poverty and ruin after her father died. Harsen continued to love his wife, even going as far as to fight his father to allow Ercella into their family, but with time he began to notice that those feelings weren’t entirely reciprocated. Ercella claimed to “love” him, but under that guise was a motive that had been carved into her just like many other nobles. To Ercella, Harsen was the “best choice”. If someone richer and with a bit more manners had come her way, she would have easily accepted them. The fact that she STILL continues to think of Harsen as “the best choice” after all these years and even after a second chance in life makes me mad & disgusted at the FL to be thinking so shallow.
Harsen may be acting possessive and yes, I completely agree that that is a HUGE red flag to avoid in any relationship but the reason he is like this is because of his wife. Ercella is likely the first person he chose to love besides his mother after everything that had happened but her feelings only ended making him feel like a joke.

To what I can understand, in the first timeline of event Harsen left Ercella to live and do as she pleases with the thinking that this was the one way for her to love him. She wasn’t also thinking of cheating because how ingrained it was to maintain the reputation of their families – so she is faithful but also living a hedonistic lifestyle. She showed an image that she loves herself and only herself which was his only consolation in why she doesn’t love him much deeper than that. But now in the new timeline she is showing interest in their son and other people as she tries to change her other relationships and strive to be happier, Harsen is seeing her show attention and affection to people and things that aren’t him. No one in this story is a saint, some people are more trashier than others.

My God this fucking Harsane is getting on my nerves too much.. It seems like he is obsessed with her and its not actually love gosh.. I am so mad for god sake divorce this trash.. If i see female lead’s past life actions then its this trash’s fault too.. He didn’t give her love and care she wanted.. Only a son bearing machine…
