Spoils a little? one of them precious jewelry and the other got shoes. Also her place in the story is to never be involved anyway. He might not hate her but definitely seems like heavily favorites the daughter that looks more like the mom.

I feel bad after finding out how hard everyone worked on those ugly shoes??? Looks like another case of her past life getting in the way of her current happiness, if she didnt have these false expectations from the story she could see everyone loves her as much as her sister
