Same here, but if we want to give her the benefit of the doubt, we can suppose she’s doing that to make him more comfortable in her presence. After all, if someone connected to the man who left him there to root suddenly started treating him nicely, he’d be suspicious. Otherwise worried about offending her and landing Charlize in trouble.
