I know Lizzie is bad a hard childhood, but even then she was raised to be a pawn. Ludwig, not as much since he wasn’t engaged to no one. Regard less of who had it harder, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a criminal. If Lisa is cared off him so much then why didn’t she help him. She was the future empress after all. She’s ruined so many innocent lives and kingdom’s reputation over someone that’s obviously manipulating her! And what if people fine out she’s pen pals with a criminal? This is just what nobles or an enemy country need to justify a coup. Then what? With the military’s morale at its lowest and their commander gone, I highly doubt they’d even try that hard to protect you😒
The whole empire is on an uproar and the public opinion hit rock bottom, making the imperial family prone to being overthrown……. all this for a dude who is being pardoned for his crimes coz that’s what his sister wants.

I hope this GREAT sacrifice that doesnt follow logic and only based on an emotional impulse will be worth it in the end. Well of course it will, it’s a light novel for god’s sake.
