We’re not all naive and innocently pure like the FL, we learn from experiences and don’t stay all saintly and pure forever. I truly think that ppl who don’t understand why a person can disregard red flags is very privileged. I can only guess that they have a solid family foundation to fall back on and have never had something anyone wanted to take from them so they can’t understand someone who with nothing to go back too and what a desperate person will do to hang on to any opportunity
