Not only was it awful if him to do what he did to his first wife, but he lied to their child and told him that his first wife killed his second wife (which I’m guessing he was told the second wife was his “birth mother”). Which made him fear his mom based in those lies and why he didn’t love her until he found out the truth. There was no reason to go that far. He slowly tortured his first wife by killing her spirit and starving her, etc. to death while he brought in his mistress and had her raise their child and fed him lies so he wouldn’t love his mom… are you kidding? That’s beyond awful
