She is going out with the prince with no guilty conscience, meaning as she doesn’t see him as a potential partner. My biggest issue the Duke ruined it for himself by belittling her BUT has fits of jealousy and doesn’t acknowledge he’s in love with her. It’s okay to be ignorant but that’s border line stupidity plain n simple. As for FL my issue is if you’re smart you’re smart, you won’t easily fall for dumb traps, or set yourself up to be trapped, I don’t mind the slow burn…if it makes sense. She doesn’t want to get hurt but allows herself to get close to him, I personally would limit our contact to only necessary moments after their last conversation, not go along with what he says out of the contract obligation.
