Yeah… by chp 9, I’m really confused on what to feel about this.
On one side, FL is acting exactly how most girls that grew up on fear and abuse would act, not to mention someone that doesn’t know anything about noble life and is in a very unstable and threatening position. She’s no Mary Sue, she feels real.
But on the other side, I don’t really wanna read about such a pitiful situation. She’s just sad and scared all the time. I don’t blame her for it, but it’s not making me feel that excited about reading the next chapter either…
Also, is that guy a, or the, ML? If so… ughhhhh… 🫠 well, let’s hope next chapters let us understand his behaviour, and that he becomes interesting

So, ig my advice would be to wait for some more chapters before judging. Idk how plot will develop and which direction it’ll take, rn it’s just a pitiful and scared FL in a new environment, trying her best but she’s truly a poor orphan girl that doesn’t know jacksh*t about the world, specially noble society.
That in itself could be interesting, but there really isn’t much plot going on atm, so idk, mixed feelings 🤷♀️
