I’m worried about the original Erusha ;A;
I hate it when it’s “i transmigrated into a body of an innocent child, what happened to her soul? who cares! no one cares if she’s dead! everyone winds up loving the protag better anyway!”
no one is gonna realize she’s possessed, the story is never going to address the little girl who just got body-snatched, and everyone is going to compare her favorably against the Dead Child that she’s now wearing the body of “ooohh you speak so good now! you’re useful now! screw that dead child, she was worthless anyway”
I know it’s a genre staple and I’m the one who keeps torturing myself by reading this genre, but I really wish more stories would meaningfully address the child. It especially always bothers me when the protags don’t give a fuck. Like idk, if I possessed the body of a small child, I’d be REALLY concerned about that child that I essentially killed by stealing her body. And no, it wouldn’t do ANYTHING to comfort me to know “oh the child was destined to die anyway”, I’d much rather be teleported over in my own adult body and rescue the poor little girl! or get reborn as a new character and again, Save The Kid!!!
