He should hold onto her voice instead of her discription of her face since that exactly the only thing she could fake to a blind person.
Also each people has different speech pattern, so if he can’t differentiate between Paula’s and Alicia’s speech pattern and mannerism, i don’t know that to expect from him anymore.
I somehow had a hunch that the one to point out that Ann is Paula is gonna be Violet. Like if she visit to meet her son and saw Paula like ‘Oh Paula, long time no see’. Something like that 😅
For a trigger to happen she needs to say something specific that trigger an special memory … for example the times she read him books were special to him so if he hears her reading he might figure it out but after 5 years he can’t immediately recognize her voice
Also as for speach pattern both Paula and Alicia grew up under the same roof in the same city so their speach pattern and accent might be very similar and they are biological sisters so they might have similar (not same) voice
And Alicia is trying to get close to Vincent so if she figures out he’s looking for paula she could easly fake it

So it makes perfect sense how he hasn’t figured it out yet

Vincent is blind, not deaf! How could he forgot a voice that ringing in his ear everyday, almost 24hr. Come on. How many times paula read him books?

I could recognise vitubers voice even when they change model after graduate and my memory are shit

If it’s turn out he really didn’t think about her voice then the author seems to make him dumb on purpose, and i don’t appreciate that
