The one thing I really dislike in this chapter is when Julian suddenly gets angry and holds a dagger against the female lead’s neck. Did the author want to add some more dramatic moments just for the sake of it?
Julian doesn’t have even a single speck of reason to do freak out like this. He couldn’t kill the kidnapped female lead anyways, because he was told to bring her to the prince. He also JUST said that he didn’t want to hurt the female lead and preferred the times when he worked for her. Plus he received a really good offer from her – since she already knows so much and has proven to be clever before, he should know that she will probably be of more help than the prince…
