I was confused why that green haired dude said to excuse their rudeness since a chapter mentioned that only those with dragon power can see them(meaning only Sylvia and Felix). But seeing your second comment, I realized that he could have just felt the fairies presence.
I think he said please excuse their rudeness because he felt them surgin in, even the water mage felt eryngium whe she was circling his head (was it herbert or hubert idk)

It was noted in one of the previous chapters that only felix and sylvia can see the fairies, maybe because both of them can weild the dragon’s power
