Not again this childcare genre with same old creepy storyline : “Celibate pure single father”
First of all, a child with overwhelming power shouldn’t be acting so childishly. Power comes with responsibilities, and having such immense strength should naturally push someone to mature faster than others. Yet, in this genre, the MC barely shows any real growth. Instead, they remain the same naive, overly coddled child while being ridiculously overpowered.
Secondly, one of the most frustrating patterns in childcare manhwa is how both the author and the fans seem dead set against the father having his own life. Many readers, including yourself, act just like those obsessive K-pop fans who throw tantrums whenever their favorite idol is in a relationship. Seriously, grow up. The child is going to get their happy ending—so why is it such a crime for the father to have one too?
But no, the father must either:
Be an ex-villain trying to “atone” and thus, must suffer forever.
Be a widower whose entire existence revolves around raising the MC.
Be emotionally unavailable, existing only as a cold yet doting guardian.
Be tragically killed off so that the MC can unlock their next power-up.
It’s so predictable, it’s exhausting.
The idea that a single father—who is powerful, wealthy, and competent—must be eternally devoted to the MC and remain untouched by romance is honestly disturbing. It’s the same unhealthy fantasy that K-pop stans have about their idols staying “pure.” Do you really think the MC wouldn’t be happy to see their (adopted) father move on and have his own life?
And let’s be real—happiness might be subjective, but Joo-rim (or any father figure) barely even gets a chance to define it for himself. Why? Because the MC has Plot Armor, making them the most desirable and protected being in the entire story. No one else’s happiness truly matters in comparison.

its not to there level but its still a realy good story.
